 Sale
United came away from the Sale Festival last Sunday
with heads held high. Not only were the teams in the
exhibition matches winners, but Sale United also picked
up the Judges Trophy for the best float in the parade.

2005 - Sale Festival Exhibition Match
Unicorn JFC U9's and Sale United U9's have been invited
by Sale Lions to provide teams to play a 7 a side friendly
game at the Sale Festival on Sunday 19th June, 14:30
kick off, at Worthington Park to help promote both clubs'
junior football policies.
Leaflets promoting junior football will be distributed
by both clubs on the day. |

Our Under 9s
won through to a FINAL v Deans by beating AFC Urmston
Meadowside 3 - 1 at Crossford Bridge earlier today.

Two goals from
Dean Norton and one from Marcus Lane sealed the victory.
Elliot Ham was magnificent in goals and kept a clean
sheet up until receiving a blow to the head with only
two minutes to go. Meds took advantage by slotting
in a consolation goal.

Cricket Ground last Wednesday.

Girls, was awarded the
'Trafford Sports Coach of the Year' award. |
SALE
UNITED F.C. was awarded the 'TRAFFORD SPORTS
CLUB OF THE YEAR' award. |

Both Angela and the Club will now
represent Trafford at the Greater
Manchester Sports Awards which will be announced on
8th April 2005 at an
Awards Evening held at the City of Manchester Stadium.
I am sure you will be pleased
to hear this news. Well done to everyone
involved. It is a testimony to all the hard work our
volunteers have put
into making this Club one of the most respected, not
only in Trafford, but
far beyond in National Football circles. |

Feb 2005 Gimme 5's Extended
Sale United have been running
'ball skills' sessions for children aged 5 years and
UNDER at Ashton-on-Mersey Sports Hall on Mondays,
4.30pm to 5.45pm. In addition to this session we are
starting a SATURDAY MORNING session at the same venue
for one hour and will run from 8.45am - 10am.
If you know of any boys and/or girls who would like
to be attend either or both sessions please give them
the details. The cost is £3 per session. For

04 11-A-Side Transition Tournament Postponed
Unfortunately
the heavy rainfall over the last few days has made the
pitches at Crossford Bridge unplayable. Therefore the
11-a-side tournament scheduled for 21st/22nd August
has been postponed. The tournament will now take place
on the weekend of 4th and 5th September. All other details

junior squad membership continues to grow and in order
to maintain this we are now looking for adults who want
to test their skills by becoming the next Alex Ferguson
or Kevin Keegan. Our Open Age sides are also in need
of extra managerial skills.

including sponsorship for any level of the FA Coaching
